Opened in 2017, this space adds a new dimension to the TOTEM family. Large bay windows let you enjoy the sun while climbing, creating a bright and energizing atmosphere. The gym is air-conditioned for optimal comfort. With its urban design, it stands out with multiple dedicated kids areas.
Steps from the lake, between Lausanne and Montreux, on the Vaud Riviera. Regulars come from Vevey, La Tour-de-Peilz, Montreux and all along the shore. It's become the spot for local climbers, neighbourhood families and those who drop by in the evening just to hang at the bar.

The Discovery Pass is not just a day pass: for CHF 49, you get 14 days in every TOTEM space, with open access and classes included. Otherwise, day entries and memberships are available.

If you want to come climb solo or with friends, no need to book ahead. If you'd rather take classes, we've got everything you need — whatever your level.

Routes refreshed regularly by our route-setting team — easy starts to harder lines for pushing your level. Moon Board and Cage Calisthenics for focused training.
Yoga & Fitness, under the same roof.
Regular yoga studio: Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin. To wind down after climbing, or just to come move differently. Weekly classes led by teachers who know the place.
For training, an equipped zone with machines, Moon Board, Calisthenics Cage — to keep working when the arms start to give, or to come specifically for that.
For the Kids, really for them.
Multiple kids-adapted climbing zones — Vevey is one of our best-equipped spaces for children. Holds and colours sized for them, and room for them to actually climb without being on top of each other.
The Kids space is open access — no reservation needed. For children under 12, a parent or supervising adult must be present throughout the session. We also offer parent+child classes, BabyMove from age 1.5, and Kids TEAM from age 3, multi-activity camps during every school holiday, plus super-fun birthdays hosted by our instructors.
And after, we stay.
At the end of the session, we meet at the bar to share a pizza or tapas, over a drink. TOTEM Session — our craft beer, brewed in-house — comes with something to snack on. Our menu rotates regularly but always stays accessible.
In the evening, to the sound of music, the bar becomes the regulars' meeting spot. No need to climb to come.

Frequently asked questions
First time — how does it work?
You can either try it out on your own or with friends, or sign up for one of our intro courses. For new members we offer the Discovery Pass, which lets you try all our spaces for 2 weeks and join all weekly classes (bouldering, yoga, and fitness). If you don't have your own climbing shoes, you can rent them on-site.
What are the opening hours?
TOTEM Vevey's exact opening hours are shown at the top of this page (auto-updated). Generally we're open from early morning to late evening on weekdays, with slightly shorter weekend hours.
What difficulty levels at TOTEM Vevey?
Boulders are color-graded, easiest to hardest. You'll find everything from kids/complete-beginner level up to competition-grade. Rotation is regular — our setters create new boulders constantly to keep it fresh.
Is there a bar / food at TOTEM Vevey?
Yes. The TOTEM Vevey bar serves drinks (coffee, beer, wine, soft drinks) and small dishes (pizzas, tapas, salads) — open to everyone, climber or not. The after-session hangout.
